Occupational Therapy

Whole Child Therapy Services provides completely individualized care for every client. Our goal is to support our clients in gaining independence and confidence in performing age-appropriate skills necessary for participation in daily activities. We value parent and caregiver involvement and collaboration and work closely with parents and caregivers to teach them the strategies to promote progress and independence at home. 

Our occupational therapist provides services for clients who are experiencing fine motor, sensory, visual-perceptual, or self-care challenges related to:

  • Fine motor delays

  • Learning disorders

  • Autism spectrum disorders

  • Cerebral palsy

  • Down syndrome

  • Attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder 

  • Developmental delays

  • Upper extremity injury

  • Traumatic brain injury

Based on assessment results, our occupational therapist designs a treatment plan based on each client’s and family's unique needs to target:

  • Fine motor skills

  • Handwriting

  • Hand-eye coordination

  • Muscle strength

  • Sensory integration

  • Self-help
