Whole Child provides SLP and OT services to children 0-18 years of age of varying neuro-types. Job Responsibilities:

  • Performing evaluations using formal and informal assessment measures

  • Establishing treatment plans and maintaining clinical documentation

  • Maintain timely documentation records

  • Providing therapy according to the treatment plan

 

Experience/Licensing Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree for COTA

  • Master’s or doctorate degree for OT

  • Current Washington state licensure, in good standing, to practice occupational therapy

  • Demonstrates proficiency in occupational therapy modalities required to provide high-quality, evidence-based care to our pediatric client base

  • Minimum 1 year work experience preferred in a pediatric setting.

Experience, skills, and knowledge:

  • Knowledge of child development, with a focus on development of functional skills as relevant to the scope of practice for occupational therapy.

  • Experience in working with children who have neurodevelopmental challenges and/or complex medical needs.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in occupational therapy modalities required to provide high-quality, evidence-based care to our pediatric client base

  • Awareness of neurodiversity-affirming clinical practices and motivation to support families using this framework.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with staff, team members, and community.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

  • Self-motivation and confidence to work independently
